What You’ll Do
As a Beauty Therapist, your responsibilities may include:
- Welcoming clients and understanding their individual beauty and skincare needs.
- Providing professional skincare advice and recommending personalised treatment plans.
- Performing eyebrow shaping, threading, tinting and henna brow treatments.
- Providing facials and body treatments, including cleansing, exfoliation and massage.
- Carrying out hair removal treatments such as waxing, tinting and bleaching.
- Maintaining accurate client treatment records and tracking skincare progress.
- Keeping up with new beauty trends, products, tools and treatment techniques.
- Maintaining a clean, hygienic and welcoming treatment environment.
- Recommending and selling suitable skincare and cosmetic products.
- Assisting with bookings and appointment schedules.
- Building positive relationships with clients and encouraging repeat business.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A certificate or diploma-level qualification relevant to beauty therapy.
- At least two years of relevant industry experience may be considered where an applicant does not hold the required qualification.
- Strong practical skills across a range of beauty treatments.
- A professional and customer-focused attitude.
- Good attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and products.
- Flexibility to work rostered shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
