Visa Sponsorship for International Applicants
This position is listed as potentially involving H-1B and other employment-based visa sponsorship, but international applicants should read Axon’s sponsorship language carefully.
Axon states that it will determine, at its discretion, whether to sponsor or continue sponsorship of an employment-based visa, including an H-1B petition, transfer or extension.
Therefore, applicants should not assume that visa sponsorship is guaranteed simply because the position appears on a visa-sponsorship job board.
Candidates who require U.S. work authorization should verify their individual eligibility and discuss sponsorship requirements during the recruitment process.
Important U.S. Export-Control Requirement
There is an additional consideration for international applicants.
Because of the nature of Axon’s products and technology, certain technical information may be subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Axon states that some non-U.S. persons may require a deemed export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce before accessing certain technology or technical data.
The company identifies certain exceptions, including U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents and certain protected persons.
This means that applicants from outside the United States should carefully review the export-control requirements before applying.

- Senior Electrical Engineers
- RF Engineers
- Embedded Hardware Engineers
- Electronics Design Engineers
- Wireless Hardware Engineers
- PCB Design Engineers
- Hardware Development Engineers
Candidates should have substantial professional experience designing and debugging sophisticated electronic hardware rather than only academic or entry-level experience.
