Welder
Freeway Truck Repair & Tire Shop Ltd. is hiring Welders for two permanent, full-time positions in Delta, British Columbia.
The position offers CAD $38.60 per hour for 35 to 40 hours per week. Successful candidates will work on site and may be required to work early morning, morning, daytime and evening shifts.
The role is suitable for welders with practical experience in welding equipment, metal fabrication and repair work.

Job Responsibilities
As a Welder, your duties may include:
- Interpreting welding process specifications.
- Operating manual, semi-automatic and fully automated welding equipment.
- Reading and interpreting welding blueprints, drawings, specifications and manuals.
- Inspecting completed welds to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
- Operating pre-set welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
- Performing minor maintenance and repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
- Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining proper equipment standards.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 2 years of relevant work experience.
- English language ability.
- The ability to work on site in Delta, British Columbia.
- Practical knowledge of welding processes and equipment.
- The ability to read and interpret welding drawings and specifications.
