Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable backend systems.
- Develop and maintain core backend services.
- Build infrastructure for dynamic electricity plans and billing.
- Solve complex technical problems in a fast-moving startup environment.
- Maintain high technical standards across the codebase.
- Integrate Stripe payment and billing systems.
- Contribute to backend architecture and distributed systems.
Requirements
- 3–10+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills.
- Experience with asynchronous programming.
- Strong PostgreSQL and ORM experience.
- Drizzle experience is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Next.js API routes or server components.
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalable architecture.
- Experience integrating Stripe payments and billing.
- Strong computer science fundamentals or equivalent practical experience.

- Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
