Responsibilities
The Account Executive will:
- Drive new business and revenue across Southeast Asia.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to deployment.
- Develop sales strategies for different ASEAN markets.
- Identify potential customers across fintech, e-commerce, SaaS, gaming, logistics and other technology sectors.
- Build go-to-market strategies and sales processes for the region.
- Develop relationships with senior executives and technology leaders.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate regional market requirements to product teams.
- Work with product, marketing, solutions and partnership teams.
- Collaborate with regional cloud and channel partners.
- Provide market insights on Southeast Asia’s technology ecosystem.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- 12+ years of enterprise sales experience involving emerging technologies and digital-native businesses in Southeast Asia.
- Strong knowledge of the ASEAN startup and scale-up ecosystem.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes.
- A strong record of closing strategic deals and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with stakeholders from individual contributors to C-level executives.
- Strong understanding of business environments across Southeast Asia.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work in an evolving environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with any of the following is an advantage:
- AI/ML, cloud, developer platforms or API-based products.
- Selling technology products to technical decision-makers.
- Existing relationships with founders, CTOs and product leaders in Southeast Asia.
- Working with hyperscalers or channel partners.
- Bahasa Indonesia, Vietnamese, Thai or another Southeast Asian language.
- Launching a new market or region for a technology company.
- AI systems and AI safety.
Visa Sponsorship
