Chattyvets is recruiting a Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary practice in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
This is a permanent position offering 40 hours per week, with a 1-in-6 weekend rota. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a new Partner and contribute to the continued development of the practice.
The role includes periods of sole-charge responsibility, making it suitable for a confident veterinary professional who can manage a varied caseload independently.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing high-quality clinical care during consultations and surgery
- Developing treatment plans with clients
- Managing medical, surgical and dental cases
- Working confidently in a sole-charge environment
- Collaborating with the wider veterinary team
- Supporting the development of the practice
- Maintaining high clinical, regulatory and operational standards
Requirements
Applicants should:
- Be a qualified MRCVS
- Have a passion for providing high-quality patient care
- Be confident managing a varied caseload
- Have experience with routine surgery and dentistry
- Be comfortable working independently
- Have strong communication and client relationship skills
- Be willing to contribute to the development of the practice
Salary & Working Pattern
