The successful candidate will work with clients on the design, implementation, modernization and optimization of enterprise-scale data platforms, particularly within the financial services sector.
The position is aimed at senior professionals with at least five years of data engineering, data platform development or data architecture experience and strong hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.

What Will You Do?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be involved in building and modernizing large-scale data platforms and will be responsible for tasks such as:
- Designing and implementing modern cloud-based data platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
- Developing enterprise-grade data platforms and data architectures.
- Implementing Medallion Architecture across Bronze, Silver and Gold layers.
- Building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines.
- Managing data ingestion, transformation, orchestration and storage.
- Developing data quality and monitoring processes.
- Creating data models and supporting analytics and reporting.
- Working with Fabric Data Factory, OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Notebooks and Power BI Semantic Models.
- Developing scalable ETL and ELT solutions.
- Supporting enterprise reporting, analytics and AI projects.
- Implementing data governance, security, quality and lineage practices.
- Working with consultants, engineers, product owners and client stakeholders.
- Documenting technical designs and explaining architecture decisions.
- Contributing to agile technology and transformation projects.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Development or Data Architecture.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience covering the end-to-end data lifecycle.
- Experience implementing Medallion Architecture in production.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory and Power BI Semantic Models.
- Strong SQL and Python skills.
- Experience developing scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Experience with Apache Spark and Delta Lake.
- Knowledge of modern cloud data architectures.
- Strong understanding of data and dimensional modelling.
- Experience with data governance, security and data quality frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience working in agile environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Engineering or a related discipline.
- Professional proficiency in English.
