What You’ll Be Working On
As a Robotics QA Engineer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the reliability and safety of robotic systems through hands-on testing and automation. Around 70% of your time will focus on validation and automated testing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Validating robot behavior in simulation environments
- Developing automated testing scripts using Python
- Executing and maintaining regression test suites
- Testing navigation, localization, obstacle avoidance, and safety features
- Working with ROS Topics, Services, and Actions during testing
- Analyzing ROS bag files, logs, and simulation outputs
- Investigating software failures and identifying root causes
- Reproducing complex software defects in realistic test scenarios
- Converting customer-reported issues into automated simulation tests
- Managing test repositories and Jira test cycles
- Supporting software release readiness alongside cross-functional teams
- Collaborating with Robotics, Backend, Frontend, DevOps, and QA engineers to improve product quality
Required Skills

- Experience with robotics software development or testing
