Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot the data platform.
- Maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Support data lakes, data warehouses and streaming solutions.
- Improve data quality, monitoring and platform performance.
- Troubleshoot and optimise SQL queries and data workflows.
- Automate data ingestion, transformation and delivery processes.
- Work with data scientists, analysts and business users.
- Support cloud data services and infrastructure.
- Review and approve data product releases.
- Document platform changes, processes and best practices.
Requirements
- Experience working with production data pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with distributed data processing such as Apache Spark.
- Experience troubleshooting dbt, Apache Kafka, Apache Ignite, Apache NiFi and Apache Airflow.
- Programming skills in Python or Scala.
- Experience with AWS cloud data services.
- Familiarity with Grafana.
- Knowledge of cloud data governance, security and compliance.
- Experience with CI/CD and testing for data workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
