AECOM is seeking experienced Water Infrastructure Engineers to join its team in Townsville or Rockhampton, Northern Queensland.
The successful candidates will work on major water infrastructure projects, including pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and water and wastewater treatment infrastructure.
The opportunity is also open to experienced professionals relocating to Northern Queensland. For suitable candidates, AECOM can provide visa sponsorship and relocation assistance for the candidate and their family.

What You’ll Do
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing water infrastructure for local and national projects
- Leading projects from business development through design and construction
- Managing commercial aspects of project delivery
- Providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to required standards
- Developing relationships with clients and project stakeholders
- Mentoring junior engineers and designers
- Supporting business development and long-term client relationships
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering
- Experience working on complex multidisciplinary water infrastructure projects
- Experience managing project delivery requirements
- Strong technical and project management capabilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams
- Interest in mentoring and developing junior engineers
- RPEQ or CPEng is highly regarded
