Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robotics courses and modules
- Teach and mentor students and academic staff
- Contribute to robotics research projects
- Develop external and industry collaborations
- Support the development of robotics-related programmes
- Contribute to scholarly and research activities
- Keep up with advances in robotics and related technologies
Areas of interest include robot learning, perception, planning and control, human-robot interaction, embodied AI, autonomous systems and robotics software engineering.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- A PhD or doctoral qualification, or be close to completion, in Robotics, AI, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- A teaching qualification
- Higher education teaching experience
- Strong knowledge and practical experience in robotics or autonomous systems
Candidates from professional or industry backgrounds may be considered with a relevant postgraduate-level qualification and professional robotics experience.
